Sedir Island Boat Tour is a day of happiness for all who want to see the unique world of Marmaris by sea. When you arrive on Sedir Island, the tour’s least traditional stop, you’ll be greeted with golden shores and a legendary beach. At this island, you’re able to swim in the sea Cleopatra is said to have swum in and drive briefly through the ancient ruins. The pleasure of swimming in the cobalt seas of the Aegean and experiencing this quirky setting will stay with you for decades.
There are swimming stops in different bays during the tour too. Refreshing your souls in the clear waters and enjoying the tranquility of nature, you will enjoy a good break in the day by a good lunch which is offered on the boat. Concluding your tour, this beautiful day where the sun, sea and nature come together will leave an extremely valuable memory on you.
Departing from the destination point in the morning, you will reach the harbour and get onto the boat. Around 10:00, bliss of a sunny day begins on the anchored boat. Firstly, you will leave Marmaris Bay and head for nearby bays. Along the route, you can see the pine forest-covered shores and boats cruising in crystal waters.
The initial swimming break is usually in peaceful and clean waters such as İnce Kum or Lacivert Bay. Here you may swim at the sea with a 30-40 minute swimming break. Then our route is headed to Sedir Island, which is the most interesting part of the tour. Once you arrive on the island, you can see Cleopatra Beach, walk across the unique sands and have a short promenade between the ancient theater and ruins. If desired, one may also have the chance to swim in this unique environment.
After Sedir Island, the boat goes further and lunch is served at another bay. A simple and delicious menu such as grilled chicken, pasta, salad is normally offered. After lunch, the boat moors in a good bay to spend the day’s second swimming break. Having cooled off in the sea, the journey back starts and we are back in the harbour between 16:00 – 17:00. This day-out, where you’re surrounded by the sea, nature and history, ends with a quiet and enjoyable finale.
