Sedir Island is the kind of place that will captivate you with its golden beach and blue sea. It is said to be where Cleopatra once swam. As you walk around the island, you’re walking through history, with ruins such as the theatre, the Temple of Apollo, and ancient stone roads.

Departure is at 10:00 from Çamlı Village. The boat sets sail to Sedir Island, Zeytinli Bay, İncekum Beach, Lacivert Bay, and Rabbit Island, one after the other. Along the way, you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the sea.

There are swimming breaks at some of the stops. The water at İncekum Beach is crystal clear, and you have to swim to reach the shore. Lacivert Bay has deep, strikingly blue water and is perfect for those who enjoy snorkeling.

When you arrive at Sedir Island, you will have two free hours. You may swim at Cleopatra Beach, explore the ancient ruins, or relax at the island café with a refreshing drink.

The boat has a capacity of 150 passengers and includes a covered lower deck with seating, changing rooms, and showers. The upper deck offers 130 sunbeds for those who want to sunbathe.

The atmosphere on the trip is calm and pleasant, with minimal music downstairs and light music on the upper deck. It’s a lovely day out filled with sea, nature, and sunshine.

Schedule and Important info

What To Bring -Bring sun cream, sunglasses and a towel. Bring some cash as alcoholic drinks are extra. Wear normal clothes and you can bring a swimsuit to change on the boat.

Departure Time – Boat departs between 09:30 – 10:00 in morning, hotel pick-ups are earlier. After booking we will let you know about your pick-up time.

Pick-up

Early in the morning, between 08:30 and 09:30, you will be picked up from your hotel and set off towards Çamlı Village Pier, approximately 25 km from Marmaris. If you are coming with your own car, there is a large car park next to the pier. It is important to arrive on time to board the boat without any rush or crowd.

Boarding the Boat

Our tour boat departs from the harbour at exactly 10:00. You can board the boat between 09:45 and 10:00. Our spacious and comfortable two-storey boat features shaded seating areas, toilets, shower cabins, and a bar on the lower deck. On the upper deck, there are sun loungers and an open area for sunbathing. A pleasant journey with music awaits you.

Sedir (Cleopatra) Island

Arrive at Sedir Island at 11:00. This place is also known as Cleopatra Island and is famous for its golden, fine sand. Entrance is free of charge if you have a MuseumCard; otherwise, an entrance fee of 450 TL for adults and 120 TL for students is charged. Children under 8 years old can enter free of charge. On the island, you can learn about the legend of Cleopatra Beach, visit the ancient ruins, and enjoy the sea. You are offered 2 hours of free time between 11:00 and 13:00.

Lunch

At 13:00, our boat anchors in Zeytinli Bay and lunch service begins. You can enjoy your menu consisting of chicken schnitzel, pasta with sauce, seasonal salad, and bread, accompanied by the sea view. Water, Coke, Fanta, Sprite, tea, and coffee are free of charge throughout the day. If you have a special diet, just let us know in advance. Lunch time is between 13:00 and 14:00.

Incekum Beach

At 14:30, our boat sails to İncekum Beach. This beach is famous for its fine and soft sand. Since it’s not possible to dock directly at the shore, you’ll need to enter the sea from the boat and swim to the beach. You will have 30 minutes of free time between 14:30 and 15:00 to enjoy this experience, which is especially fun for those who know how to swim.

Navy Blue Bay

Then, between 15.00 and 15.30 hours, we move to Navy Blue Bay. The water here is deep and clean, perfect for snorkelling. You can easily see the fish and stones under the sea. You are offered a 30-minute swimming break.

Rabbit Island

The last stop is Rabbit Island, between 15:30 and 16:00. On this small but charming island, you can see rabbits and goats roaming freely. If you like, you can swim to the island. You will have 30 minutes of free time here as well.

Return

The tour ends between 16:00 and 16:30, and our boat returns to Çamlı Village Pier. After this full day of enjoying both the sea and history, you will be taken back to your hotel or car. You will complete the tour with beautiful memories.

What can I do on Rabbit Island?

There is a 30-minute swimming break on Rabbit Island. If you wish, you can swim to the island and spend time with rabbits and goats. Our team feeds the animals and you will be able to see them.

Are life jackets provided on the boat trip?

Yes, life jackets are provided by the boat for each guest.

The tour ends at 16:30 and our boat returns to Çamlı Pier. Guests who request a transfer will be dropped off to their hotels in Marmaris around 17:40.
